When the pandemic had hit, this little ones mom was expecting another baby. We had full intent on doing her newborn session and them boom.. lock down.
Doing newborn photos was scary because there was so much uncertainty with what would happen and you never want to put a baby at risk of harm.
So sadly we decided to not to their newborn pictures and there was heart break for all.
So when Chelsey messaged me and said she was expecting, tears flooded my eyes because I knew how much she wanted newborn pictures with her son and now we could make that a reality for her daughter Levi.
What I love most about Levi’s session is that we honoured her great Grandfather in such a beautiful way.
Chelsey’s grandfather was a huge part of her life growing up and sadly he passed before he could meet baby Levi. She had asked me if we could do pictures of her with a necklace that contains his ashes and that is exactly what we did (Pictured at the bottom). Another fun fact, Levi is actually named after her great grandfather.
