I’m not going to pretend that I’m good with staying up to date on my blog.
Let’s be honest you guys, I have good intentions on keeping it fresh and up to date. At the end of the day, my blog is where it gets hit the hardest.
Sorry old friend, I’m back now and with all this free time I promise to share lots more on here.
So… lets get this baby started.
We are doing things a bit backwards here.
This beautiful couple has already gotten married–I will be sharing their wedding soon and trust me.. its a gorgeous one!!
I wanted to make sure that you also get to see what we did for their engagement session.
We met up in Candle Lake on a cold mosquito filled day and played in the forest.
If you aren’t from Saskatchewan trust me when I say, Candle Lake is so versatile for images!!
You can do images in a forest, on the beach, down a river, and in the lake.
It is one of my favourite places for pictures for this very reason.
Between Candle Lake and Waskesiu, this is where I spend a good chunk of my summers just doing photoshoots.
So enough about me..
Lets chat about these two!
Say Hello to Davis and Dustin!
These two are the sweetest and most down-to-earth people you will ever meet.
Davis is my kind of person; she is unique and 100% herself and I love that about her. She’s goofy and funny and always seems to be smiling (again, my kind of person).
Dustin is a true warrior and just an all around solid guy! He’s not afraid to do the fun stuff, to get the fun images, and he loves Davis and boy does it ever show in these images.
The combination of the two of them together is perfection.
They have gone through hell and back and then through hell and back again.
Despite everything they have gone through, they choose to stay positive and strong; and you can’ help but leave a conversation with them feeling inspired.
Also, on a completely different note, we have family moving out to candle lake in the future, which means I’ll be there even more now!!
